Today is my birthday. Not a big deal (please, no presents or cards. Thanks.). What I did want to do was post a comic book cover from a favorite comic book of mine. This is the cover to issue # 2 of "Blue Beetle" from Charlton Comics, cover dated August 1967. I have read a couple of issues of this run and I liked it. Steve Ditko-- how can you go wrong with that??? Here is the cover....

This is my current list of comics that I buy on a regular basis. As all of us comic readers know, these lists are subject to change according to current tastes, cancellations, available funds, and so on. The store I frequent is Main Street Comics in Middletown, NY. This is a great place to go with an eclectic menu of comics available to purchase, from "Batman" to "Strangehaven", and many in-between. I wanted to post some more of my drawings so people can see how good of an artist I am not. Enjoy (and have a good laugh!)

I like comics. I like to buy comics. I like to read comics. I like to talk about comics. I like to read posts made to forums that are about comics. I like to post on forums that are about comics. When I was a kid, I used to like drawing super-hero comic characters. Occasionaly I like to still draw comic book characters.

In short, I like comics.

I like sports, too, and I have a blog where I put random thoughts about sports. I am going to do the same here.

Why? Because technology allows me to do so.
